St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) is the Northern Territory’s leading provider of emergency medical response and preparedness. Our mission is to save lives and build community resilience to improve the safety and healthcare for all Territorians.

We are seeking two highly motivated Clinical Services Officer’s to support the ongoing work and expansion of Clinical Services within St John NT. These positions focus on the education, support and learning needs of our Paramedics and Patient Transport Officers.

As part of the highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Services Team you will report to the Clinical Services Manager with the following responsibilities:

  • Development and delivery of continuing education, new clinical staff inductions, and professional development programs for individuals.
  • Assisting and coordinating the management of the Graduate Intern Program and credentialing process across the Territory.
  • Providing expert in-field clinical leadership, support and education to our Paramedics and Patient Transport Officers.
  • Promoting a positive learning culture including supporting ongoing clinical growth and improvement with all clinical staff.

The successful candidate will be a critically thinking professional who is solutions-focused, self-motivated, and a team player. They will have:

  • Bachelor of Paramedicine or equivalent from a CAA accredited university.
  • Paramedic registration with AHPRA.
  • 2+ years of operational experience at Qualified Paramedic level or higher.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An understanding of the principles of patient safety and clinical quality improvement.
  • An understanding of eLearning development and delivery and proficient in the Microsoft suite of programs.
  • An understanding in the facilitation of blended-learning course delivery.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a willingness to obtain.
