Graduating soon? What you need to know for registration
Are you in your final year of an approved program of study and excited about starting work as a paramedic?
Before you can start practising and using the protected title, ‘paramedic’, you must be registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia.
Online registration for graduate applications is open from mid-September and you can submit your application up to three months before you expect to complete your course.
Ahpra and the National Boards have released a handy Quick Guide on applying for registration - get it here.
You can also visit the Paramedicine Board's website for information specific to paramedic registration for graduates. Click here to go there.
For paramedic registration enquiries, you can phone 1300 419 495 or visit the Paramedicine Board's website for full details.
