The College welcomes the opportunity to provide a submission to the Te Kaunihera Manapou | Paramedic Council regarding consultation fees.

The College aims to prepare a submission based on the views provided by our Aotearoa New Zealand-based members and the wider profession.

Before you provide your response, please read the consultation paper.

Key consultation information:

Te Kaunihera is proposing changes to the fees charged by Te Kaunihera, including:

• Introducing new fees for: Specialist paramedic practice endorsement, restoration to the register, return to practice, accreditation and monitoring of paramedicine programmes.

• Removing a fee for verifications, which is not used by Te Kaunihera.

The College will close this survey 22 October 2024, in time to prepare our submission to consultation which closes 29 October 2024.
