St John WA seeks graduate paramedics


St John WA are currently recruiting graduate paramedics, with applications open via the St John WA website.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, health professionals, and members of the public and other emergency services to ensure the best possible care for the patient is achieved
  • Interact effectively as part of the ambulance crew, with other ambulance crews and other emergency services to ensure the delivery of patient care is optimised
  • Complete Patient Care records and other reports as necessary and with a high level of care and accuracy

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Bachelor Degree of Health Science – Major in Paramedicine or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted ‘C’ or ‘CA’ class driver’s license with no more than 6 demerit points
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilience and self-confidence
