Research Opportunity: Identifying the educational needs and learning motivations for paramedic preceptors to undergraduate students. A mixed methods study.

Are you an Ahpra registered paramedic who has experience working with student paramedics? Are you an Australian student paramedic who has undertaken a clinical placement? Volunteers are being recruited for research purposes.

Researchers at Australian Catholic University are seeking participants for a research project looking to inform the education of paramedic preceptors (clinical supervisors/instructors/mentors). This study's aims are twofold. First, to explore the skills, knowledge and attributes required by paramedics to perform the preceptor role to Australian student paramedics. Second, to describe the motivations of paramedics for undertaking preceptor education.
