A primary supervisor provides academic leadership and oversight to a research candidate. They guide the research process, support thesis development, and ensure the project meets ethical standards and institutional requirements.
A co-supervisor offers additional expertise and support, often in a specific area of the research. They work alongside the Primary Supervisor to provide broader mentorship and contribute to the academic and professional development of the candidate.
Finding the right supervisor can feel overwhelming, but it starts with knowing your research interests and the kind of support you need.
