Finding the right research partner or HDR supervisor can be challenging. Identifying an expert in your field, someone skilled in the necessary methodology, or a supervisor based in your area can be a difficult and daunting task.

How do I apply to join Research Connect?

Joining is simple! Just click here to read the eligibility criteria and complete the form. If you meet the eligibility criteria, a member of our team will review and upload your information to the registry.

What requirements do I need to join Research Connect?

Paramedicine researchers who are College members and/or international researchers can join Research Connect.

How do I update my profile?

To update your profile, please contact us at research@paramedics.org with the changes you would like to make.

How long do I stay on the register?

You will remain on the register as long as you maintain your financial membership with the College.

How much does it cost to join Research Connect?

Research Connect is free for current financial members of the College. While profiles are visible to the public, only College members are eligable to join. Click here to apply.

What is a primary supervisor?

A primary supervisor provides academic leadership and oversight to a research candidate. They guide the research process, support thesis development, and ensure the project meets ethical standards and institutional requirements.

What is a co-supervisor?

A co-supervisor offers additional expertise and support, often in a specific area of the research. They work alongside the Primary Supervisor to provide broader mentorship and contribute to the academic and professional development of the candidate.

How do I find the right supervisor for me?

Finding the right supervisor can feel overwhelming, but it starts with knowing your research interests and the kind of support you need. Explore potential supervisors by reviewing their publications, profiles on Research Connect, online profiles and research group websites.
