It is a two-tier membership designed to support paramedicine students throughout their degree. It includes a free foundational tier (Student Connect) and a paid tier focused on clinical development, career preparation and transition to employment.

Student Connect is a FREE, foundational, entry point into the College community. It provides access to College communications, recorded webinars, podcasts, micro-learning, CPD tracking and student updates. It helps students explore the profession and connect with the College early in their studies.

Student Membership+ provides full access to College educational content, live and recorded webinars, eLearning resources, student support materials, employment preparation programs and member discounts.

How much does the paid tier cost?

Australia: AU$99 one-off for the duration of the undergraduate degree. New Zealand: NZ$99 one-off introductory rate.

Is the paid membership annual or ongoing?

It is a one-off payment designed to cover the remaining duration of the student’s undergraduate degree. There are no annual renewals.

The Pre-Employment Program is a structured series of modules and sessions that support students preparing to enter the paramedic workforce. It includes interview skills, graduate program preparation, portfolio development and transition to employment.

When can students access the Pre-Employment Program?

When can students access the Pre-Employment Program?

The program is available to students in the paid tier who are either within six months of completing their degree or actively seeking paramedic positions.

Can the Pre-Employment Program be purchased on its own?

No. The program is offered as part of the paid student membership to ensure that students receive comprehensive career support and professional community engagement.

What happens if students are already members of the College?

What happens if students are already members of the College?

Current student members will be transitioned to the new structure without disadvantage. Existing membership access will be honoured and upgraded at renewal or launch of membership program (implementation details to be confirmed).

No. Existing members will not be penalised. Transition arrangements are designed to recognise and support early adopters.

The College provides learning resources, recorded educational resources, clinical content, student-focused webinars, community support and guidance from practising paramedics. It is designed to complement, not replace, university curriculum.

Students may access volunteering opportunities, committees, working groups and community activities where available. This helps build networks and professional identity early in their career.

Universities may share College information through student portals, intranet pages, newsletters, student societies, guest lectures and career development webinars. Universities do not provide student contacts directly due to privacy policies.

As students approach graduation, the College will provide a clear pathway into full membership and graduate support programs. Transition offers may be available to support early career paramedics.

No. Students will be notified of transition arrangements and will have opportunities to move into full membership or graduate-focused programs.
